Charity Spotlight: feedONE - Convoy of Hope

feedONE, a campaign of Convoy of Hope, is on a mission to feed children in developing nations all over the world. Our eco-friendly underwear brand is set out to help them do just that.

How do the two overlap?

Jeff Roman, executive director of Integrated Marketing and feedONE, says feedONE wanted to partner with Marc Skid because the two organizations share the same goal: helping people.

Marc Skid is similar to feedONE in that they saw a need and wanted to do something about it. Our hope is that we can partner together to truly make the world a better place.”

And it’s definitely possible. According to feedONE, just $10 can feed a child nutritious meals for a week. That means simply purchasing 3 pairs of Marc Skid’s Pima cotton underwear will feed a child for over a week.

But how do you know your donation to feedONE is working?

Like all of Marc Skid’s charity partners, Convoy of Hope has been rated 4/4 stars by Charity Navigator. This means they are the best of the best in fiscal responsibility and being ethically sound. However, unlike other charities, Convoy of Hope has received 14 consecutive such 4-star ratings.

That puts them in the top 1% of charities rated.

If you’re still not convinced, here’s why Roman believes in the organization he works for:

“Mother Teresa once said, ‘If you can't feed a hundred, then just feed one.’ I take that to heart and feel that through feedONE I can help feed hungry kids around the world — one at a time.”

After all, Roman said it best, “If we all did something, we could see big change.”

Ready to make your Marc on the world?

Marc Skid partners with 9 total charities, 3 for each of our Feed, Save and Cure platforms. All of these charities have received a 4/4 star rating from Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of fiscal responsibility and transparency.
